“ You walk into an alleyway and it’s at the end. There are a few restaurants but Cocotte is the one that is packed. It’s a bit warm, so dress lightly. We really enjoyed the food here. The service was a bit crazy but the table turnover was crazy. The toilets are clean too. We got beers, 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 1 dessert for 650,000 (US$28). The roast duck was amazing! Will definitely come back to eat here! ”
“ Location: since it's not out on the main road, you'll have to search for this place and invest in getting there. It's not too difficult to get there on feet or by getting a ride. I found this place because my accommodation is in the same alley as this place. Ambience / vibe: it has a nice retro vibe, well done with the interior. You'll get the European (French?) retro vibe. Food: had a veal stew, was excellent. Portion was good too (came with a side of pasta noodle and entree bread). Service: the best! There were two staffs at the time and they both very accomodating and courteous. Excellent service! ”

“ Their food are top notched for French. Should definitely please the hardest critics. Their famous Boeuf Bourguignon are fantastic. The Poulet a la Creme de Parmesan is really good too. It’s not dry for chicken and also very flavorful. Also the Burgundy Snails for starter was an amazing good start accompanying with bread The space is quite small. We went in for lunch on a weekday hence it was not really crowded. However, if it’s full, it’s might be noisy and tight here. Staffs are nice and warm. ”
“ ****** New Menu ****** We tried 2 new menu items today: Hokubee steak frites & Beef Ravioli. The steak was tender and full of flavour, the phu quoc pepper sauce was **wow**. The home made beef ravioli was delicious, really enjoyed the tomato based sauce in came in. There are more new dishes to try, we will be back soon, you should pay your local Cocotte a visit, don't miss out on one of the best lunch deals in HCMC ”
“ Recently, I had the chance to discover this French restaurant though my partner, and I thoroughly enjoy it. The vibe quite nice and cozy, suitable for both family & friends. I know they also have two other locations, in Sila and Ben Thanh, all of which are in the center of the city and easy to find. Based on my research, Sila location seems more luxurious and larger. They also have space to host the events & parties, making it worth a visit. Maybe next time, if I celebrate an event, I will contact them to make a booking. Moreover, the staff is friendly and made me feel at home. Additionally, I was satisfied with the affordable prices compared to other French restaurant out there. On top of that, the food and drinks here are delicious. It's make me mouth water just to think about it. I definitely come again and bring friends and family too.Finally, I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone looking for a nice place to eat and enjoy. One more suggestion I have is to add some music. I don't know if they have music, but when I was there, I didn't hear any. ”
“ It is a lovely bistro with good food and okay service. The onion soup, beef carpaccio, and beef ravioli are good. They are flavourful. While for duck confit with potato, it is kinda normal: the meat lacks flavour and potato worse than the other course. Snail and beard also normal. Creme brûlée is considered great: you can taste the smooth texture of the custard base and the layer of caramelised sugar is at the right point. Overall, the food is good here. Service kinda normal and the vibe is positive. Price-wise, it falls on the expensive side with 760K VND per pax. ”
“ A nice and cozy space. It's not too big but large enough for a warm dining. It was recently renovated with aircon and a new look. The food and wine are awesome. It's a very good place for those who love French cuisine in small groups or family. ”
